Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  More than 700 motorcyclists took part in Sunday's 15th annual event called  the “Cruise“ that benefits the Rochester Ronald McDonald House.

This year’s ride was a 150 mile route through Rushford, Fountain and Mabel and ended at the Ronald McDonald House where the proceeds were turned over. The total this year was around $95,000.

Only 35 riders took part in the very first Cruise in 2000 and they raised $200 and took some teddy bears to the local Ronald McDonald House.

Since then, the total amount of money raised for the “ home away from home “ is close to $1.5 million.
