The 2016 70th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 12) saw performances from the nominees in the Best Musical category, as well as the troupes from the Best Musical Revival Category, which includes classic shows like Fiddler on the Roof, Spring Awakening and The Color Purple.

Gloria Estefan and the cast of On Your Feet, which did not receive a nomination this year, also performed, as well as James Corden, who opened the show with a rousing theatrical tribute to shows like Grease and West Side Story, among others.

Prior to the show, the cast of Hamilton, which received a record-breaking 16 nominations this year, announced that they would be removing all muskets and prop weapons from Sunday's televised performance.

The adjustment came in light of the mass shooting that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando early on June 12, in which 50 people were tragically killed. New York Times theater reporter Michael Paulson announced the decision via a tweet hours before the Tony Awards aired at 8 p.m. on the East Coast.

Stay tuned below as we continue to drop in videos of the performances, including James Corden's opener!
