Explore MN has released the latest "21 Things to do in MN" list and it's quite extensive.

Explore Minnesota, the state's tourism promotion office, released an infographic that highlights 21 of the best things to do across the state. In addition to being the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" (technically 11,842 lakes), another big part of Minnesota's appeal is that it offers four distinct seasons, each with its own particular pleasures.

From bustling downtown areas to untouched wilderness, pine forests to bluff country, and historic landmarks to modern-day attractions, Minnesota is incredibly diverse. Each year, millions of travelers discover what makes the North Star State wonderful in the winter, charming in the spring, relaxing in the summer and picturesque in the fall.

According to Explore Minnesota's infographic, there are 500 golf courses, 18,000 miles of fishable rivers and six national park sites celebrating the U.S. National Park Service Centennial in 2016 - and that's just the start. Whether you're seeking the ultimate man-cation, girls getaway, family road trip or weekend escape for culture or nightlife, Minnesota offers something special for every traveler.
