Did you let time get the best of you? I certainly did! I don't have my Halloween costume yet, and I definitely don't want to settle for a cheap quality, expensive costume. Here are some ways to save money on your costume!

  • Make Your Own

This may be tough with the small amount of time you have, but hey, give it a try. Scope out some ideas on Pinterest!

  • Reuse Your Clothes

Seriously though, look through your old crap. You never know what you might find. The average woman has over $1,000 in unworn clothing.

  • Swap With A Friend

You didn't find what you need in YOUR closet? Head to your best friend's house! My sister is my go-to clothes borrower and vice versa.

ALSO, maybe they have a costume they wore a few years ago. I've done that before. It's a shame that some of these outfits are only in the public eye once...

  • Thrift Shop!

If all else fails, you always have Goodwill, Savers AND Salvation Army to back you up. Especially this close to Halloween, if you can find a costume, you'll get a killer deal.

Yes, they have the costume section, but don't forget all the extras they sell that can help you make a costume.
