It feels like game shows have been around since the beginning of time. It's amazing how long some of the current TV game shows have been around! As shared in this great video from mashable.com, here are five of what must be a million interesting facts about game shows that maybe you haven't heard before.

1. Merv Griffin composed the think music for “Jeopardy” which earned him $70 million. Alan Thicke wrote the theme for “Wheel Of Fortune”.

2. A woman sued Nickelodeon after she was hit in the face by a pie on “Double Dare” and claimed she couldn’t have sex after the incident. She was given $25,000 to “go away.”

3. The wires for the Plinko board on “Price Is Right” are always rigged so the chip lands on $10,000 while filming commercials. They forgot to reset the wires during the next segment and a contestant hit the $10,000 slot three straight times.

4. On “Let’s Make A Deal”, contestants had a better chance of winning the grand prize if they switched doors instead of sticking with their original choice.

5. On the Russian show, “Intercept” contestants steal a car and if they can avoid the cops for 35 minutes they get to keep it.
