If this is your first Harvest Jam, there are a few things you need to know before going to Rochester's BIGGEST end of Summer bash!Harvest Jam 2016 is going to be AMAZING! Featuring Rodney Atkins and special guests: The Plott Hounds, JT & The Gunslingers and Roadhouse 6. Here are just a few things for anyone NEW to Harvest Jam.

  • Bring a Comfortable Chair or Blanket

There will be plenty of room to sit at the fair grounds and plenty of space to spread out a blanket, if you choose. Though, you could stand throughout the entire festival, it's nice to take a seat between bands to relax because you'll be doing a lot of dancing.

  • Be Prepared for the Elements

This is Minnesota, after all. The weather here can change on a dime. Of course, we're hoping for weather like last years Sunny and 75 but you never know. It's nice to have a spare sweatshirt or umbrella in your car.

  • Bring a Good Camera

If you're still rockin' a flip phone, it might be time to upgrade. The cameras on smart phones are pretty amazing. If you don't want to upgrade, just bring a good camera along so you can catch all the fun and excitement and maybe do a little showing off to your friends that can't make it.

  • Wear Comfortable Shoes

There's nothing worse than wearing uncomfortable shoes to an all day event. Bring something you like walking around in that's comfortable and fits well. Being at the fairgrounds, Harvest Jam 2016 will be on the grass so, though I don't recommend going barefoot, it's a nice option, in your area where you'll be sitting.
