8th Annual Chili Challenge

We are just one month away from the annual Chili Challenge! Here are the details. 

Another sure sign that summer is coming to a close - chili!! Try some of the best chili in town at the annual Chili Challenge. The event is happening on the peace plaza Thursday, September 22nd from 4-8 p.m. to benefit the Rochester Boys and Girls Club.

I had the opportunity to be a guest judge a few years ago, and let me tell you, you'll go home wanting to recreate these masterpieces.

There's only ONE thing that could make a bowl of chili better - pair it with a beer. This year, they are introducing the Homebrew competition. More than 20 local brewers will offer samples for tasting.

And the icing on the cake:

While enjoying your brew and chili, you will also get to participate in several activities (Hammerschlagen, Giant Jenga, climbing wall, photo booth etc), AND live music.
