A Beating And A Burglary In Rochester Saturday Morning

Rochester, MN (Rich Peterson/KROC AM News) -- A Rochester man was beaten early Saturday morning in downtown Rochester.  A witness and video surveillance showed three men punching and kicking the victim outside Dooley’s at the corner of 1st Ave and 3rd street at around 2:45 this morning.

According to the Rochester Police report, the victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to St. Mary’s hospital, his condition is unknown. Two of the assailants are in custody. They are 24 year old Abdiaziz Ahmed Dhore of Rochester and 21 year old Liban Abdikdir Abdullahi address unknown.

Police also responded to an attempted burglary at the Apollo liquor store in northeast Rochester at 1:30 this (Saturday) morning.  It’s not known at this time if anything was taken, but police say a window was broken.
