A Busy Weekend in Southeast Minnesota

This weekend promises to be one of the last beautiful weekends in southeast Minnesota. There are a lot of activities from festivals to football games to races. Where ever you go, we'd like to say THANK YOU for taking Quick Country 96.5 along with you.

Fall Harvest Celebration in Austin… Saturday from 11am-3pm at the Mower County Historical Society…Wagon rides, kids activities, vendors and more…(507-437-6082 or mowercountyhistory.org)

Zumbro Bend Rendezvous…Thurs-Sunday in Mantorville. See a re-enacment of Minnesota’s early history. (zumbrobendrendesvous.org has more info.)

Great Southern Grass Drag Nationals. In Douglas, rain or shine. Snowmobile racing on grass, snowmobile ‘vintage sled show’ and more.

Deer Creek Speedway’s ‘Fall Jamboree’..Thursday-Sunday…

SPORTS:
-The Gophers host Ohio tomorrow afternoon…
-The Vikings take on the Chargers Sunday at noon at TCF Bank Stadium.
-The Rochester Ice Hawks are at Breezy Point tonight and host them at home tomorrow night at Graham Arena…
-Friday night football games include a couple of homecoming games with JM vs. Northfield, Mayo takes on Owatonna, plus Century is at New Prague and the Lourdes Eagles host LaCrescent.
