A Facebook Solution To Rochester’s Affordable Housing Crisis?

It's not real, but it is pretty freaking funny.

Recent years have many in Rochester discussing the affordable housing crisis/shortage. Rent seems through the roof (pun intended), and it feels like you have to move mountains to find and afford a house in Rochester.

I'm guessing someone got so fed up with it on Facebook that they acted out in a clever and funny way. Check out this ad I saw in my newsfeed!

Okay, we know this is a joke - but have you been so frustrated with the situation that you've felt like this too? According to the latest Census, the average renter in Rochester pays about $900 a month. Got a mortgage? You're probably paying somewhere near $1,400 a month - which is the average. Median household income for those working in Rochester is somewhere around $70,000 a year.
