A National Wine Day Photo Tribute

Seeing as today is National Wine Day, now's the perfect time to open your favorite bottle of vino! Or, if like most of us, you have to work today, here's a quick tribute to everyone's favorite grape-made beverage that should hold until you can open a bottle, that is.

My wife and I love a good bottle of wine. We both like the deep oakey flavors, but I tend to like the more 'jammy' flavors, whereas my wife likes drier wines. And, outside of a hot summer day when I might enjoy a nice white wine, I'm usually more of a red wine guy.

You don't have to head to the west coast to enjoy some great wine-- there are now several cool wineries here in Minnesota. We have, though, enjoyed taking several trips out to Napa, California, and touring the many great wineries in that region, famous for its wines, as well. In fact, we last spent some time out there last October, before driving up the coast of northern California to check out the Redwoods National Forest.
