Earlier this year after one of our first snowfalls, I was embarrassed when I slid through an intersection in downtown Rochester because I was going to fast for the snowy conditions-- a quick reminder that everything's different behind the wheel in winter! I've been driving in winter for almost 30 years, but it still happened to me. Luckily, there weren't any other cars around. And yesterday's blizzard-like conditions made things tough even on the most experienced drivers.
