Alicia Keys And The ‘No Makeup’ Movement

I've got to admit, I'm loving the fact that we're even having this conversation, and it's all thanks to new judge on The Voice, Alicia Keys.

A lot of us have been talking about the fact that she's been seen in public, numerous times, makeup free. Some love it, some hate it. A lot of us women are curious about it, because we've considered a makeup free life for a while. Alicia seems to be sticking to that, and inspiring others to do the same.

She took off the makeup of Tamron Hall during The Today Show, and explained why this movement is important to her. Us Magazine reports she said, "I love makeup. I love my lipgloss, I love my blush, I love my eyeliner," she clarified. "At the same time, I don't want to feel beholden [to it]." A nobel idea! However, are we comfortable with it? Are we ready to go makeup free?

Alicia explained that it's a personal decision, and one you should make "for you." So, now it's up to us - will you go makeup free, or keep putting yours on?
