Another Assault in Stewartville
A Stewartville man was treated over the weekend after he says he was assaulted while standing outside an apartment complex.
The 20 year old says he got into an argument with a man while standing in the 100 block of 2nd street southeast in Stewartville around 2:30 Sunday morning. He says the man took out a folding knife and struck him over the head with the weapon.
The victim was taken to St. Mary’s for treatment of the head injury and released.
He told deputies he has no idea of the man’s identity.
