Another Cool Reserved Parking Sign in Rochester

I was running a few errands the other day, and had to stop and do a double-take when I saw this reserved parking sign at a business in northwest Rochester.

That's right, the sign is for 'Super Hero Parking Only,' which, as the sign also says, includes 'Veterans, Active Duty, Police Force and Fire Fighters.' I spotted it near the front doors at the HyVee in Barlow Plaza, off Civic Center Drive in northwest Rochester.

It's pretty cool! When I first noticed it, I saw the 'Super Hero Parking Only' and wasn't quite sure for whom it was reserved. But, as I got closer, I could see which super heroes they were talking about. And I couldn't agree more-- everyone involved in those professions really ARE super heroes.

Last fall, I noticed THIS reserved parking spot for Combat Wounded Soldiers at the Rochester Home Depot location off 41st Street. They're both pretty cool signs-- and a great shout-out and tip of the hat to those who put their lives on the line so we can continue to enjoy our way of life.

So, a big shout-out to both businesses for putting up these signs, and for doing a little bit to recognize those Super Heroes-- and giving them their rightful spot upfront!
