Another Reason I Love Summer In Southeastern Minnesota

Remember back to last winter, when it was 20 degrees below zero with snow banks so high at the end of your driveway that it was tough to find your mailbox?  I remember thinking I'd be SOOO grateful when summer would finally arrive. Well, of course, summer has arrived-- and last night's Charlie Worsham show at Mayo Park, part of the Down By The Riverside Concert Series was just another great part of an all-too-short summer season.

Between Rochesterfest, Thursdays and First & 3rd, the Olmsted County Fair, plus tons of other activities, there's no shortage of places to catch some great live music. And the Down By The Riverside Concert Series is another great event!  You get to sit in Mayo Park, a beautiful setting along the Zumbro River, and enjoy a lovely summer evening, complete with some good food, a beverage of your choice, and some FREE live music.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to see Hope Country and Charlie Worsham-- and braved that a-little-more-than-brief shower at the beginning of Charlie's set.  It was a great night to be here in southeastern Minnesota!
