Luke Bryan is set to play the first concert there in just over two month's time. The official open house and tours are set. But now here's another sign the new US Bank Stadium is almost set to open.

New highway signs! That's right, even though the new stadium sits in the same spot as the old Metrodome did (well, close enough to the same spot for navigating the roads leading to the venue, that is...), MnDOT was out last week, replacing those brown highway signs that direct the way to the new stadium.

In today's high-tech age, where everyone seems to use some type of navigation device on their phone (I'm addicted to Google Maps, for instance), the signs along with highway that point out which exit to use to get to stadium aren't perhaps quite as crucial as they once were. But, you still need to have them. And, the fact the MnDOT was out replacing them shows that we're THISCLOSE to being able to spend our hard-earned money in that fancy, schmancy billion dollar new facility!
