Congrats, fellow Minnesota drivers-- we're better than drivers in 46 other states!  And that's not bragging, that's a fact-- at least, it is according to the website carinsurancecomparison.com, which just released a survey that ranks Minnesota as having the fourth-best drivers in the country.

The ranking was determined by crunching numbers from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National Motorists Association, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. It analyzed data involving fatality rates, drunk driving, tickets, careless driving and seat belt usage.

So which states have better drivers than us here in Minnesota? Well, at the top of the list is drivers in the state of Vermont, followed by Utah and New Hampshire. The worst drivers in the country, according to the survey, are those in Louisiana.

So go ahead and pat yourself on the back, fellow Minnesotans (just not while you're driving...)-- we're #4!
