The border battle between Minnesota and Wisconsin has been around a long time. Whether it's the Packers and the Vikings, the Gophers and the Badgers, the Timberwolves and the Bucks, or even the Twins and the Brewers, Minnesota has always had a good-natured rivalry with our neighbor to the east. And, that rivalry now also extends to Wisconsin's state tourism commercials.

During the annual Explore Minnesota tourism conference, according to a story on BringMeTheNews.com, Governor Dayton apparently said the following Wisconsin tourism commercial “one of the most idiotic things I’ve ever seen.” The series of commercials are a take-off of the 1980 movie, Airplane, whose directors, David and Larry Zucker, are from Milwaukee. Of course, the commercials are running here in Minnesota right now, urging us to spend our money over in Wisconsin. So it's only natural the Governor would think Minnesota's commercials are better. But, what do you say? Do you think it's 'idiotic'?
