It's no surprise that we all like to take a lot of pictures on our phones these days and then post them all over social media. So just what are the most Instagrammed places here in Minnesota?

USA Today recently scoured the interwebs and compiled a list of five places in each state that had the most photos posted on Instagram. Some of them-- like the Grand Canyon in Arizona or Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado-- make complete sense, given their incredible natural beauty.

But check out what topped the list here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes:

1.    Mall of America
2.    U.S. Bank Stadium
3.    Xcel Energy Center
4.    Target Field
5.    Lake Minnetonka

That's right, MOA is the Minnesota spot that has the most Instagram pictures. I guess it makes sense, seeing as millions of people head there every year. And, of course, the fact that the new US Bank Stadium, the X, and Target Field made the list also makes sense, seeing as between 30,000 and 60,000 people head to those venues for each event. (And EVERYBODY posts a pic of themselves at a concert or game, don't they?)

But being and outdoor lover, I thought it was heartening to also see Lake Minnetonka make the list. Even though I'd have thought one of the incredibly scenic points along Minnesota's North Shore (like Split Rock Lighthouse or Gooseberry Falls) might have made the list, I guess not enough people head there each year-- at least compared to the stadiums, anyway.

Interestingly, the list is similar for my home state of Wisconsin, too: Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, is number-one, followed by Camp Randall Stadium at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and Miller Park in Milwaukee.
