Are You Superstitious?

I was driving the other day, when I saw a weird gesture that I assume is a superstition, but honestly I don't know. Are you superstitious?

So, I'm sitting at a stop light when the light turns green. I start inching forward and, for whatever reason, I look into my rear view mirror at the perfect time. I saw this girl take both hands off the wheel, kiss them one at a time, then hold her hands out (off the wheel) as she went over the railroad tracks. I've heard of holding your breath over a bridge, but this was weird to me. Does anybody else do that?
