There are a lot of things Minnesota has-- like crystal clear lakes and abundant wildlife, to name a few. But I'm glad THESE aren't native to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Have you seen this viral video from a nature preserve in Florida? It's been making the rounds online, and it shows One. Big. Gator.

According to ABC News, the video was taken Sunday at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida, and it shows a HUGE alligator lazily making its way over a path and through a couple of different marshes.

The story says officials estimate that the big gator probably weighs close to 1,000 pounds and is at least 15 feet long.

And did you notice the crowd of people watching the big guy make his way across that path? I don't know about you, but I think I'd be heading off as fast as I could in the other direction.

It makes me glad they're not native to places like Minnesota. I'm not sure I'd want to run into something like that while hiking through Whitewater State Park... how about you?
