Brad Paisley teamed up with pop star Demi Lovato for "Without a Fight," and now fans can watch the just-released lyric video.

The video shows Paisley and Lovato recording the angst-filled song about a couple who just simply can't get along. Instead of his usual black cowboy hat, the country star sports a hoodie and baseball cap, and he looks ultra relaxed while recording, laughing with Lovato and giving her vocal direction.

“Good as we are at getting it on / How come we just can’t get along? / The way we love, it don’t seem right / The way we fuss, the way we fight,” they sing. “I’ve got a crazy idea / How ‘bout maybe tonight we make up without a fight?”

“For me, I wanted [“Without a Fight”] to have that feeling of angst in a relationship,” Paisley tells Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex. “Everybody goes through a period where you’re fighting a lot, I think. Sometimes that can be a good thing for your relationship. That conflict can lead to making up.”

"Without a Fight" is the lead single from Paisley’s forthcoming 11th studio album. It has several other collaborators including Mick Jagger. Plus, Paisley adds, “John Fogerty and I have been writing, and wait ’til you hear that. Timbaland, then Demi [Lovato].”

His 2016 Life Amplified Tour kicks off Thursday (May 19) and also features Maddie & Tae and Tyler Farr. Paisley will also headline Country Jam 2016 in Grand Junction, Colo., on June 17.
