When it comes to taking care of our teeth, Minnesota is doing a dang good job. In fact, we are doing a better job than any other state in the country. According to WalletHub, Minnesota is ranked the best state for dental health care.

In order to determine which places have the healthiest teeth and gums in the U.S., WalletHub "compared the 50 states across 25 key indicators of dental wellness." They researched things like the number of people that visited the dentist, dental treatment costs, and the amount of adults with low life satisfaction due to oral condition.

Minnesota does a great job getting to the dentist, event though our dentist per capita is fairly low. We were also top of the list for states with the lowest percentage of adults with fair or poor oral condition.

How to keep up on dental health:

The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss once a day, limit sugar intake and visit your dentist on a regular basis.
