Rochester, MN (Rich Peterson KROC AM News) -- Rochester police were called to Buckeye Liquor Saturday evening at 6:12 after an employee was assaulted by a customer.

 According to the police report, a 35 year old man dropped some beer he had purchased in the parking lot. When the employee refused to exchange it, the man assaulted the employee.

He was arrested at the scene and is in custody, charged with assault right now and possibly attempted robbery, though that is being investigated.

The liquor store employee was injured but not hospitalized.
