Californians Try To Pronounce Minnesota Names

Living here in Minnesota, we're used to some of the more...unique, shall we say... names that are found here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Which makes it even more fun to watch these Californians take a crack at saying them.

Yes, according to this funny video from the gang over at Only In Minnesota, take a look at this group of California natives. They were given some of our 'tougher' names to pronounce, and predictably, they come up with some hilarious results-- at least to us fellow Minnesotans, who know how they're supposed to be pronounced.

And, full disclosure: As a native Wisconsinsite who's been living here in Minnesota for going on five years now, I'll admit that even now, sometimes when I have to say "Wayzata," I still incorrectly pronounce it as "why-ZAT-ah" event though I know it's actually pronounced, "why-ZET-ah." I'm not sure why that one still mixes me up!)
