Californians Trying Cheese Curds for the First Time

Even though Minnesota State Fair is a few weeks away yet, if you're like me, you've probably had some deep fried cheese curds already, either at a local county fair, Rochesterfest or maybe Thursdays On First and 3rd. I'm a Wisconsin native, so while I enjoy an order of fried cheese curds, I also love a bag of cheese-that's-so-fresh-they-squeak curds, too. But what do folks who haven't had them before think of them?

Having lived my entire life in Wisconsin and Minnesota, where cheese curds are available just about all the time, it's almost tough to wrap your head around the fact that there are areas of the country where people haven't had them yet. (I think the same thing about a bratwurst, too, but that's a story for a different day...) But a lot of people haven't, as this video of folks in Hollywood, Calif. trying cheese curds for the first time shows...
