Life is a series of good and bad days that are strung together to help define our own life experiences. Friday August 4th, 2017 at Country On The River in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin was a good day. A VERY GOOD DAY!
Not often am I lucky enough to be able to catch a 'generational talent' on back-to-back nights LIVE in concert. That was the case this past week with two Chris Stapleton performances in Duluth, MN & Prairie du Chien, WI at Country On The River, Thursday & Friday evening.
Last Sunday night at the beautiful Weesner Family Amphitheater in Apple Valley, MN I had the distinct pleasure of being reunited with a hometown hero, a friend, and an entertaining old-school country vibe to cap off a very busy week.
When I realized that I would not be able to attend Chris Stapleton's May 23rd 2017 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater due to work commitments, I knew that I'd have to find a 'proxy' to report back on what I knew would be a jaw-drop amazing show. I found my 'proxy'!
Last minute seats were available Thursday afternoon, and to me it looked like a packed house. What a fantastic opportunity to witness a veteran guitarist, singer, & songwriter in front of an appreciative Minnesota audience.
