Celebrate Winter With Rochester’s SocialICE 2016

Rochester's WinterFest 2016 may wrap up this weekend, but another signature winter event is set to get rolling next Thursday, February 18th: SocialICE 2016!

Yes, back for its eighth year, SocialICE is the event that transforms the downtown Rochester's Peace Plaza into a giant frozen ice bar, with 12 Rochester restaurants serving their own specialty and signature drinks from their own ice bar. Plus, there's also the Walk of ICE ice sculpture garden, live DJ's each night and more.

It's a really cool-- okay, maybe even cold-- event that, last year, drew over 46,000 people over its three-day run. That's a far cry from the 200 people who showed up for the first SocialICE, held back in 2009!

SocialICE 2016 runs February 18th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and February 19th and 20th from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm. You can check the full line-up of participating bars and restaurants HERE.
