Challenges to Charges Against Rochester Trooper Under Advisement
Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Goodhue County Judge has taken under advisement requests to dismiss the charges filed against a Rochester State Trooper following a deadly traffic crash in Cannon Falls.
49-year-old Scott Reps currently faces two counts of second-degree manslaughter stemming from a crash that occurred on the Fourth of July last summer while he was responding to a report of another traffic crash. His State Patrol cruiser collided with another car in a crash that killed an elderly Cannon Falls couple.
A hearing to contest the evidence and charges in the case was held Monday in Goodhue County Court.
