Classic ‘Shark Week’ Fake Shark Prank

'Shark Week,' the block of shark-themed programming that the Discovery Channel has been running during the first week of July, is upon us once again. So, to commemorate the occasion, here's one of my all-time favorite shark videos.

I read that Shark Week has been airing on Discovery since 1988. That's the same year I graduated from high school! There have been a LOT of shark-related videos produced since then. But this one might be my favorite. Producers rigged up a fake 'killer shark' with animatronics, and put it in a London fish market. They then strategically placed several GoPro cameras to catch the responses of shoppers when the presumably-dead shark came to life. Enjoy!
