Undated (KROC AM News) - A hard freeze settled over a large part of northeast Minnesota early Tuesday.

Most cities in the region had overnight lows in the low to mid 20s. The lowest reading came from Embarrass at 18 degrees.

The extreme southeastern corner of Minnesota was the only region in the state that wasn’t under a frost and/or freeze advisory of some type.

Lows in the Rochester area stayed in the mid to upper 30s. Rochester’s unofficial low was 37 degrees, the coolest since early May.
