Curt’s Surprise Birthday Weekend in Five Pictures

While we originally had planned to head up to Target Field for Billy Joel's concert Friday night, we ended up selling our tickets and instead just stayed here in Rah-Rah-Rochester, mainly because we had to be up in the Cities Saturday and didn't want to do all that driving two days in a row. (Plus, we saw Billy at Target Center a few years ago, too.)

Saturday, we got together with my wife's family for a surprise 85th birthday for her dad. We were sitting right near the door when he walked in, and you could tell he had no idea there was a party planned for him!

Sunday, we slept in and spent some time organizing our spare bedroom and trying to de-clutter our closets of all those extra bags, suitcases and coats we no longer use. We ended up with a LOT of bags we're donating to Goodwill! Here's what looked like...
