A man and woman from southern Minnesota were arrested on sex-related charges, after the couple was accused of lewd conduct during a flight from Las Vegas to the Twin Cities according to the Star Tribune.

Forty-three year old Teresa M. Kohn of Spring Valley, and forty-one year old Tyler V. Boehm of Stewartville, were escorted off the Sun Country flight and handcuffed after landing at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on the evening of Jan. 21. Later in the week the couple was summoned to appear in court in March on a misdemeanor charge of engaging in gross lewdness or lascivious behavior.

Kohn allegedy told officers they were "joking round" about joining the mile high club, a reference to having sex while on an airliner, according to an Airport Police incident report.

Boehm responding to a request for comment from the Star Tribune said, "We are getting a lawyer. It's a joke. ... That's all I can say."

It was stated in a police report that before the flight left Las Vegas, Kohn had been "belligerent towards the flight attendants" and that "Kohn was demanding beer before the flight had taken off and was denied."
