Election Results – Rochester School Operating Levy Referendum

Only 239 votes separated the 'yes' and no' in the Rochester School Districts operating levy referendum. 10,406 people said yes and 10,167 were against, passing it narrowly. That means property taxes will go about $180 per year if you have a home valued around $200,000.

Other school districts that passed their bond issues were Owatonna, Hayfield, Southland and LeRoy-Ostrander.

Voters in Chatfield approved an increase in operating revenue, but rejected two building bonds.

Caledonia voters said no to the 'One-Day Bond'.
