Eric Paslay earned a standing ovation after his performance of his latest single, "High Class," at UMG's CRS 2016 luncheon at the Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday (Feb. 9) -- thanks, in part, to his dance moves.

Paslay thanked the audience, filled with radio programmers, broadcasters and journalists, for allowing him the opportunity to make a second album, before launching into an energetic version of "High Class." There was an all-star lineup set for the event -- Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Eric Church, among others -- but it was Paslay who took advantage of the entire stage, leaving nothing behind as he belted out the song. The Texan sang as though it was the performance of a lifetime -- and perhaps it was. Paslay recently acknowledged to The Boot that getting his music played on the airwaves was a much more difficult task than he'd anticipated.

“[I didn’t know] how much of a miracle it is when stuff gets played a lot on the radio. It really is,” he says. “All I know is to put out great songs and keep playing them with all my heart.”

Earlier in the luncheon, Paslay joined good friend Charles Kelley, along with Dierks Bentley, to sing Kelley's Grammy-nominated single, "The Driver," the title track from Kelley's debut solo album.

While Paslay hasn't revealed many details about his upcoming project, we do know that a duet with Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild, tentatively called "Takin' My Heart Higher," will be on the record.

“High Class” is available for download on iTunes.
