The 8K is trail-run style course. There are areas of grass, dirt, cement/asphalt, wood (bridge), and forest paths that may be covered with woodchips, leaves, etc. Please wear appropriate footwear.
There is a water station mid-way through the race, and snacks/fruit and water are available before and after the race.
The race is located in the Hormel Nature Center in Austin, MN (1304 21st St NE, Austin, MN 55912). Race-day registration begins at 8:00am.Both races (8k and 1 mile) begin at 9:00am.
