Project Community Connect
Are you or someone you know living on too little? Project Community Connect will be held on Friday, January 24th, 2014 from 10 AM-2 PM at Mayo High School. Free transportation! Take City Bus route #5 to Mayo High School – tell the driver you are going to Project Community Connect. This 5th annual event will feature services and resources for people who are homeless or struggling to make ends meet. Individuals and families can get help with legal, medical, veterans’ services, housing, employment, and photo identification, as well as other resources. Free haircuts and lunch will be provided. Project Community Connect is sponsored by the Homeless Community Network of Olmsted County.

Project Community Connect serves individuals and families who are struggling financially. There will be a variety of services and resources available including access to legal, medical, and veterans’ services, housing, employment, photo identification, and free HIV testing. Free haircuts and lunch will also be provided to attendees.
The Homeless Community Network is a coalition of county, public and private human service agencies as well as interested individuals who meet regularly to facilitate communication about the needs of the homeless, monitor resources available, and to foster cooperation and coordination of activities designed to reduce the number of homeless families and individuals in the county.
