Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News) - It only took about 15 minutes for authorities to arrest two suspects for a liquor store robbery in Eyota.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at Buddy’s Liquor around 11:15 Thursday morning. A spokesman says a woman working at the business told the responding deputies that the robbers entered the store and demanded cash while pointing a long gun at her. She was able to provide the deputies with descriptions of the robbers, the getaway vehicle, along with a partial license plate number and the direction of travel.

Just before 11:30 a.m. the suspect vehicle was spotted by a Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer in an area north of Dover, which led to the arrests of a man and a woman and the recovery of an undisclosed amount of cash.

The names of the suspects have not been released, but officials say the 28-year-old man was wanted on a felony warrant issued by Mower County.
