The 'Fall Med-City Half Marathon' was Sunday at Soldiers Field Park. There was a 'Half-Marathon' of 13.1 miles, a 10K, a 5K, plus a kids mile and half mile. It was a beautiful day with a nice sky and cool weather for running.
Hundreds of runners from all over the U.S. participated, including a runner from the U.K. There was a cool fire truck for the kids to see, plus inflatables they could climb on. Celebrations Photo Lounge was taking pictures of the runners and Total Music DJ Systems was there to provide an incredible mix of music for the day. Race organizers said it was one of the best marathons they have produced.
