They just got together for Florida Georgia Line's latest video, and now FGL announced they're headed here to Minnesota this summer, and, yes-- they're bringing the Backstreet Boys with them.

That's right-- it'll be Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys, live, in concert, together at Target Field this summer. Also included are Nelly along with up and coming country artist, Chris Lane.

Nelly and Florida Georgia Line first got together back in 2012 when they collaborated on the FGL song 'Cruise.' He'd been previously announced as a performer on FGL's 'Smooth Tour' for 2017. (He had the hit song 'Hot In Here,' back in the early 2000's.)

Their appearance at Target Field on July 29th (the day after the Billy Joel concert) is only one of three shows featuring the Backstreet Boys. (They're also doing shows with FGL in Boston and Chicago.)

It almost reminds me of a prank I pulled back in high school, when I did a fake commercial for a show featuring 80's country star, Ricky Skaggs, along with the rock band, Whitesnake. (A few of my friends even believed it was real, as ridiculous as that sounds-- we didn't get a lot of concerts in our neck of the woods in those days back in central Wisconsin!)

You can get more on FGL's 'Smooth' Tour HERE. Ticket information hasn't yet been announced, though.
