Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News) -There was a police chase in Freeborn County over the weekend.  

A deputy made a  traffic stop near Albert Lea around 10:30 Saturday night but just as a backup officer arrived, the man drove off. Officers pursued the vehicle at speeds that reached 100 miles per hour. A short while later, the vehicle crashed into a parked car in Albert Lea and came to a stop in a pond. The driver then fled on foot.

He has been identified as 28 year old Levi Andersen and at last check, he was still on the loose. Authorities say officers found some methamphetamine in and around his vehicle.
