Freezing Temperatures Reported in Rochester Area
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - For a second straight morning, frost was reported across southeast Minnesota Sunday.
As was the case Saturday, the National Weather Service received numerous reports of overnight temperatures that fell to freezing or lower.
The lowest reading was 29 degrees at a site four miles north of Byron.
The overnight low at the Rochester airport was 35 degrees, three degrees warmer than the Saturday minimum.
Warmer weather is expected through Tuesday but another shot of cold air will move into the region Wednesday with low temperatures again falling to near freezing.
