A special weather statement has been released that funnel clouds could be possible throughout Southeast Minnesota.

In these circumstances, it is rare that the funnel clouds touch the ground, and should only last a few minutes according to the National Weather Service. The Houston County Emergency Management Facebook Page wants to know if you see anything in the sky, and you can follow along with the happenings across the state HERE.

Fillmore County, Houston, Olmsted, Mower, Wabasha, Winona, Dodge, Howard and Winneshiek are all included in the special statement that said the clouds are possible in the area.

If you see a funnel cloud, make sure you report it so the weather teams can track what is going on. The clouds should just shake the tops of trees and be nothing serious, so don't be too worried if you see something in the air that you are not sued too.
