This December marks the 100th anniversary of legendary singer Frank Sinatra's birth, and Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown joined in the celebration during the “Sinatra 100: An All-Star Grammy Concert,” Sunday night on CBS.

I've been a Sinatra fan for awhile now (I was even going to name my first dog, Frankie, after 'Ol Blue Eyes, but it just didn't seem to fit), so it was kind of cool to see some of today's biggest country stars do versions of the Sinatra classics.

And, they all did them very well. Carrie's powerful voice knocked it out of the park during her version of 'Someone To Watch Over Me.' And even Zac Brown-- a singer I wouldn't normally associate with Sinatra-type standards-- did a decent job on the song, 'The Way You Look Tonight.' (Although, I've gotta say, I enjoyed the big' ol top hat he sported during the medley he did with Carrie Underwood and Seth MacFarlane a little more...)

But it was Garth's version of 'The Lady Is A Tramp' I think I enjoyed the most, only because I know that song the best. (I've been known to a Karaoke version of it-- with enough 'tuning fluid,' of course.)  And even though some of the lyrics are woefully outdated ("She won't have crap games with sharpies and frauds. Won't go to Harlem in Lincolns or Fords. She won't dish the dirt... with the rest of the broads,") Garth sang them all, just the way The Chairman of the Board used to do.

In case you missed it, here's Garth's performance...
