You've no doubt either read about or have seen the footage of Garth Brooks singing to Theresa Shaw, a cancer patient form Osage, Iowa, during his Friday night show at Target Center in Minneapolis. Well, earlier this week, Garth was on Entertainment Tonight, talking about what was going through his mind while he was singing to Theresa Friday night, when he was surprised on the ET set by a visit from Theresa herself.

(By the way, this incident goes to show, yet again, what a great guy Garth really is. Ask anyone who's ever met Garth, and they all seem to say the same thing: He really GETS it. He's genuine, and he seems to really care. It's the same response I've gotten from several co-workers of mine who've met many different artists over the years. Some artists let fame go to their head and are tough to work with. But not Garth. Despite his HUGE popularity, he's still a guy who's makes you seem like he really cares about what you're talking about. Nobody seems to have a bad word to say about him-- and how refreshing is that these days?!  I'm looking forward to seeing him again Friday night.)
