Granger Smith, his wife Amber and their son and daughter are now a family of five: The Smiths' third child has been born.

River Kelly Smith, a baby boy, joined the family on Monday (May 16). Smith announced the news by sharing a sweet family photo on Facebook, along with the caption, "Heart and hands are full. We added one more boy to the clan."

Smith revealed that he and his wife were expecting their third child back in early April. He said at the time that they would wait to find out whether they'd be having a boy or a girl -- but as it turns out, Smith's guess was correct.

“This baby has a slow heartbeat, and Amber is carrying kind of lower … all indications of boy,” Smith explained, adding that he was excited to welcome his family’s new addition but anxious about the day of the birth.

“Everyone goes, ‘Greatest day of your life, right?’ And I’m like, ‘No, this is actually horrible,'" Smith admitted. “Not because of what it means but because, for the one time in my life, I have zero control over possibly the most important day of my life … You just want everybody to be healthy, you want everything to go okay, and there you are, and you’re just in the corner, and you can do nothing but watch. And you’re useless.”

Baby River joins siblings London, four, and Lincoln, two. Smith's newest record, Remington, was released in early March.
