The recent heat wave we experienced here in Minnesota made many of us head to the water to try to cool off. And it looks like that line of thinking wasn't true just for us humans.

Check out what Dave Zbracki found in the swimming pool on his deck earlier this week. (And, as Dave says in his post, no, that's not his family's dog, either!)

Can you imagine finding a big black bear on your deck? Now, Dave and his family live in Duluth, so perhaps they're a little more used to seeing some native Minnesota wildlife like that than we are here in southeast Minnesota. (Aside from geese, that is. We're used to seeing them all over the Med City...)

Still, though, that's gotta throw you for a little bit of a loop! But I also think it's cool that, according to Dave's Facebook post, they just left the bear alone in the pool to 'cool off.' I wonder how long he stayed-- and if he'll be making a return trip to the Zbracki's pool?

What would you do if you saw a bear in the pool on your deck?!?
