A six-year-old boy's tribute to Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. has gone viral.

According to a story in the UK's Daily Mail, Stewart Tow told his white mother he was grateful for the civil rights leader, who paved the way for him to be best friends with his black classmate.

His mom posted the conversation on Facebook, with a picture of the two boys together.

Responding to praise from Twitter users, Mrs. Tow wrote: 'Thank you. I hope both boys can grow up in a better world than we live in today.' You can see the picture of the two boys at the Daily Mail site.
