Heavy Snow Could Impact Southeast Minnesota Holiday Travel
It looks like Mother Nature is going to try to ruin your Holiday.
There is snow in the forecast from late Wednesday through Friday, so if you're traveling to see friends and family, make sure to keep an eye on the forecast. If you're staying home you might want to prepare for several inches by gassing up your snowblower.
The National Weather Service in La Crosse posted this update to their Facebook page:
Be weather aware later this week as there is increasing confidence for snow to impact travel with several inches possible late Wednesday through Friday. Details on exact snow amounts and locations remain uncertain at this time. Monitor forecast updates for the latest information!
Extremely cold air will move into the area after the snow. Expect a high of 15 on Saturday, 5 on Sunday and the high on Christmas will be 1 above... Burr!
